- I'm so excited from just reading an interview with Stefan Domeyer, CEO at AMItech.
- The whole interview is in german, so I'll try to give you some highlights.
- He states, that the price for the Walker will be under 1600DM. It'll be probably
- 1500DM including a CD-ROM and a 28800-modem. It'll be sold in september 96 and can
- be upgraded to PowerPC. In spring 97 there will be the PowerAmiga. Responsible for
- the hardware is Dave Haynie and is developed in close partnership with Motorola.
- It will replace the A1200 and its price will be under 1000DM, but it won't have
- all the components of the Walker from the beginning. There will also be a PowerAMIGA
- replacing the A4000 as a high-end-modell for under 3000DM. Isn't that exciting?
